• In May the company showcased a preview of the work-in-progress “Coupling”, consisting of 11 duets, at the New York City Center.
  
• In July, Zvi Gotheiner took his company home, as ZviDance performed “ZOOM” at the Suzanne Dellal Center for Dance and Theater in Tel Aviv, Israel, having a spirited reception from both audience and press. The tour continued to the 18th Annual International Contemporary Dance Conference and Performance Festival in Bytom, Poland.
  
• In the summer, Mr. Gotheiner taught master classes during the International ImpulsTanz in Vienna, as well as in Holland, Sweden and Hungary.
  
• In November, the company was invited for a three-week residency at the Kaatsbaan International Dance Center in upstate New York. This NYSCA-funded residency allowed the company to develop ideas for “Dabke”, which will be premiered in 2012.
